Judy Brater
Judy began her career in ceramic arts in 1972. After graduating in ceramics and painting from the University of Cincinnati, she has been committed to the exploration of the properties of clay. Her love for nature makes a statement in each piece. She combines wheel thrown, slab construction, and sculptural techniques. Her surface decoration and glaze techniques defines each piece as a one of a kind.
