Briarvale Pottery brings beauty and utility to each ceramic piece with the desire to enhance daily activities. All pieces are made from stoneware clay, wheel-thrown and electric kiln fired.
Design elements are inspired by nature and fabric designs and all glazes are microwave, dishwasher, oven and food safe.
I am fascinated with the texture of wet clay and the process of molding clay into utilitarian objects that introduces tactile and visual enhancements to the process of preparing and serving food.
