Belinda Woodiel-Brill

Belinda started with acrylic painting in 3rd grade, moved to quilting at age 15, and worked for artist Liz Mask building stained glass windows after college, but it was finally pottery in 2001 that completely captured her making obsession. Studying under Jackie Mirzadeh and then under Michael Robison, she has explored her amazement of nature through clay, building functional and semi-functional pieces, attempting to acknowledge the magical wonders like the building talents of birds, and the flow of water on rocks, the shape of turtles, and the quiet beauty and story of tree rings.
